Immediate FamilyMy immediate family consists of my father, my mother, my younger brother, and our cat. Even though I live far from home, I try to keep in touch with them all as much as possible, with regular phone calls, and a trip home every year for the holidays. Extended FamilyThe story of my extended family starts in Russia, the country in which my parents grew up and I was born, and reaches across the globe, from Russia, to France, to the USA. Just by chance my parents have discovered long lost relatives in far off places. My father has taken the effort to fill in as much as we know of the family tree for his side of the family, including the branches for the Garbers and the Rosenfelds, who are linked to the Garbers though my great great grandfather.
